This is what some of our ‘Overseas’ joiners had to say about us:
“I came to the UK to join my boyfriend who works in a garage. In Poland I just had experience as a baby-sitter and bartender.
I have always liked helping people. I think when client’s smile that’s the biggest reward, when you know they are happy it makes me happy.
I was worried about language barrier and different culture but it has been fine. I needed time and I still learn English now.
I do like Eclipse 😉 because they have helped me. I like my colleagues, they really support me too, and the office is friendly.
I like watch movies, read books but my true love is art.’’
“I move from Romania and started work in the UK doing cleaning and gardening but I always considered my type of personality was a good fit for the caring job.
It helps me to know that a carer makes a difference in people’s lives concerning their quality of life and social environment.
Before I started work as a caregiver I was anxious about my working hours, having not enough work. But I was not right not to be worried because yes, I have plenty of work.
Eclipse is a good company with a good working environment. Everyone is a very supportive team around you.”
In my spare time I like mountaineering and writing.’’
“When I lived in Poland I was involved in Retail Management but I had always been interested in protecting and helping vulnerable adults. So when I moved to England I decided to apply as a carer.
I find that being a carer is the most rewarding job that a person can ever have. I love it and always will. Knowing I can make a person’s day better by helping them and putting a smile on their face. I really would never change my job.
Before I started doing the job I was anxious about my communication being good enough, all aspects of personal care and managing difficult client behaviour.
But this has not been a problem. Eclipse has been very supportive, all staff are very friendly and the training is good.
In my spare time I like traveling and gardening.’’
