You are now ‘approved’ having been trained and ‘signed off’ to the latest National Care Certificate (NCC) standard.
3. Caregiver with additional skills
We will encourage you to develop your skills and apply (and pay you) for additional training in key areas such as Dementia Care, Mental Health, Palliative Care, Apprentice Mentoring, Safeguarding, Epilepsy, Medication, Peg Feeding, and Parkinson’s Disease.
4. Caregiver with Diploma Level 2
Once you are approved you will be automatically enrolled onto our next stage of professional qualifications and begin studying for a Diploma Level 2 QCF (formerly NVQ) in Health & Social Care.
5. Caregiver with Diploma Level 3
Having completed your Level 2, you can further advance your professional qualifications through studying for a Diploma Level 3. Our Area Team Leaders are all developed to a minimum of this level.
