We are better because...

We take enormous pride in our teams of professional and dedicated local Caregivers who work with a passion to provide the very best domiciliary and live in care.

Our teams have been successfully built up over many years, winning national awards for two years running from homecare.co.uk. Our Caregivers are the major reason for our success.

Success can be put down to four main factors:

  1.   The best training, support & development for those with a real talent

  2.   Tremendous reputation built on delivering years of excellent care

  3.   Investment in fast, efficient and reliable communication

  4.   A unique award winning team culture

Details behind the success of our caregivers:

1.  The best training, support & development for those with HERO Talent

  • The best training and development of caregivers delivered in house by our very experience team of trainers.
  • We have a unique approach to ‘onboarding’ our new joiners. Ours is a bespoke process that is designed to fit you, taking into consideration your experience, strengths and needs.
  • Experienced caregivers are fast tracked.
  • New starters to the care sector will receive additional training and support throughout our training, shadowing and mentoring process. You will not be asked to start until you are 100% ready.
  • On completion of your probation period you will be awarded the most recent Care Certificate based on the latest national standard.
  • Every caregiver has their own further development programme that is regularly reviewed and updated with their Area Team Leader (ATL) under our Investors in People Accreditation. This ensures your ongoing development and use of the latest techniques and thinking.
  • All caregivers are sponsored by the company to undertake a Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care. Success can then lead to a Level 3 and/or 5 Diploma.
  • You are paid for all your time spent training throughout your career at Eclipse HomeCare.
  • We have been working closely with Heart of Worcestershire College, University of Worcester and Worcester County Council for many years to ensure the very best standards of training and currently have over 24 people just like you on our vocational Apprenticeship Schemes.

2.  Tremendous reputation

  • Homecare.co.uk Award for excellence two years running.
  • Built on word of mouth and a track record for delivering excellent care over almost 10 years.
  • Strong management team with many years worth of experience.
  • Excellent reviews from private clients (Homecare.co.uk), the Care Quality Commission (CQC, UK regulatory body) and Worcester County Council (WCC).

‚Äč3.  Modern communication systems that are reliable and efficient

  • No more wasted time ringing in and ringing out of clients, not being able to find clients, or their key safes and care plans.
  • Rotas that are always up to date and communicated well in advance.
  • Small care teams each lead by an Area Team Leader and supported by a Care Coordinator (who organises your weekly rota) and locally based Registered Manager.
  • Regular team and ‘one to one’ meetings to ensure the very best teamwork and support.

4.  Our unique award winning team culture

  • We have an upside down company tree!

We see our clients and caregivers at the top of our company tree with the management team and MD at the bottom. It is management’s responsibility to support our lovely caregivers with the right information and training, delivered at the right time to allow them to give a truly excellent service to our clients.

  • An absolute desire to engage with, support and develop our caregivers.
  • Business founded on Christian principles.

‘’I really enjoyed my induction week. It was fun and very informative.
What stood out was the support from all members of staff, from Rob Gready (the founder) to the Area Team leaders and Coordinators.
All came down to introduce themselves. I have never had that before with other companies.’’   Mrs Paula C

’My induction week has been very informative and practical, with lots of different stories about situations. which gave us all ideas on dealing with real situations with clients.
The Health & Safety and training in the use of handling equipment was very good.
Both the trainers were very good – easy to listen to – which made it easier to take in all the information. Plus the handouts were good.’’   MIss Karen D
